Tracey Woodward
Tracy trained in Otago, graduating with a Diploma of Physiotherapy in 1991. After a year of hospital work in the Hawkes Bay, she travelled for a few years, working as a physiotherapist in America and the UK. She returned to New Zealand at the end of 1995, and has worked in private practice since then. Tracy gained a Post-graduate Diploma of Manipulative Therapy in 2000. She joined the team at Miramar Physiotherapy in 2004, after taking some time off with two young children. During this time completed a Post-graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine. Her particular interests include manual therapy, rehabilitation and prevention of injury recurrence. I believe that it is important to address the “whole”, looking “outside the square” at why injuries have occurred in the first place. I am also interested in exercise for health, particularly in those with pre-existing medical conditions.
